Queensland State History

Roots:

The Girls’ Life Brigade started in Queensland in 1949. The first Company met at the Rosalie Baptist Church.

Growth:
Since the first Company, many others have opened throughout Queensland. Companies have existed throughout the State, from Mount Isa and Cairns in the north, out to Millmerran in the west and down to the southern Gold Coast.
